It's great that dA now has the user name change option available. It's just as they said in their update, "We realize that as an artist, it's important to give you the ability to change your personal brand, just as you change your interests, skills, and art types."
I feel that this applies to everyone in different fields, not just artists. Everyone wants an identity of their own in whatever they do.
I didn't even realize have a dA account until 5 years later, when I tried signing up coz I was trying to view a friend's submission. I definitely had chosen my old user name based on my fandom when I signed up back then. I still do love Guilty Gear a lot, but I'd really like something that is my own identity, and not just based on one fandom out of the many fandoms I have. I didn't want to leave the account dead, and hence I continued with using kuro-ky until this option came along. I'm just very happy that dA now has this option for everyone now, and everyone can continue on with what they do without the hassle of starting over with a new account.
mika-aka is short for my name, Mikazuki Akane. *laughs*
And May is also coming to an end. One more month to Cosfest!
Cosfest preparations are pretty much done for me, except for a few minor stuff. So I've been working on my other projects at the moment.
Faneru's default image, done!
Stupid me only realized that there's a slight mistake on the sleeves' ends AFTER I threw it into the wash, thinking it's done. But ah, it's an easy fix.
Default Kaito, still in progress.
So far, only the inner shirt and muffler are done. Pants still half-done and I'm left with the coat.
I haven't had any photoshoots yet. OTL
